So this is our first post, sorry to anyone who has been checking to see something from us! The internet has been hard to find, but now we are back in Rome and have more access. We have finished our tour and met some new friends from Arizona, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Australia. We loved Florence and Venice was beautiful. Today we went to the Vatican and saw the Pope wave and address the people from his window at noon. We then attended Mass in St. Peters where Megan saw her history teacher from Dayton...small world! We then climbed 320 steps to the top of the Basilica and had an amazing view of Rome.
After some pizza and gelato we are now walking around Rome and doing some people watching. We are heading to Pompeii tomorrow for some more history and Naples for more pizza, since that is where it all started! We look forward to telling you all our stories when we get back.
